Great for on-the-go; very easy to use

The best tuning app I have found. Very easy to tune!!!! Love this app!

The "tone" part of the app works fine on my iPad, but the nothing works unter the "tuner" tab. I figure I am just ignorant of such things since it works for so many others. Even so, the tone portion is enough to accomplish what I need. I hate to rate for starts because I dont know what my part in the problem may be. So I am give 4* because the tone wheel works good--even for me. :-)

Cant even open the app

Tried to install twice on my iPad 1. Crashes each time you try to start it.

Just tried it on a freshly-tuned (by a certified pro) piano. No independent way to check the calibration but one would think the iPad clock is reasonably stable. The app easily detected notes from the bottom to the top octave.

I have to say, Im very disappointed. The app wont even open all the way before it crashes. A complete waste of time.

Simply put, it just doesnt work well, and i wanted it to work. Tried to tune my mandolin with it and it was just off on every string. It said my E string was perfect when my "clip on tuner" was reading a D. I gave up on it and bought a real tuner. My mandolin was singing beautifully with a real tune. Just dont buy it, save your money. I bought it and want my money back immediately.

Never have an issue with this product.

Can you add please the tuning for the Charango (Bolivia, Peru, Chile) G4G4 C5C5 E5E4 A4A4 E5E5

It covers a wide range of stringed instruments I use it to tune my acoustic guitar and violin. It gives an easy to read display, allowing fast and accurate tuning. A word to the wise though; the mic is sensitive, be sure to tune in a quiet place(birds where singing A# two floors up). All in all worth the price!

Really nice interface.

Interface doesnt fit iPad screen in landscape mode, but it does more than Pro Tuner in that it generates tones as well as properly identifies the note and sharp or flat in 10 cent increments, using a nice interface. For some reason, On iPhone 4, it cannot reliably hear tones generated by my Korg MA-30. Both iPad and iPhone apps generate tones in a 6 octave range. My favorite tuner so far.
